North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT), 67-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Branford upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT) to play the Wildcats in a Shoreline bout on Saturday, January 13. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 5-4. Old Lyme lost 44-25 in their recent league bout against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT)

Next up, the Noises play the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) in a Shoreline bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Hale Ray will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 43-40 non-league loss to Amistad (New Haven, CT).
