Ohio High School Basketball - Maplewood overwhelms Harding

January 11, 2024: Cortland, OH 44410

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Maplewood Rockets (Cortland, OH) and the visiting Harding Skippers (Fairport Harbor, OH), saw Maplewood's basketball squad wallop Harding by a count of 64-8.

With the victory, Maplewood upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Badger (Kinsman, OH) to play the Braves in a Northeastern - Stars challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 12-2.

Next up, the Skippers play the Lake Ridge Academy Royals (North Ridgeville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Harding will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 41-13 league loss to Open Door Christian (Elyria, OH).
