The Sheldon Orabs basketball team (Sheldon, IA), was overwhelmed 62-41 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Hawks (Hartley, IA)
The Hawks now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union for a non-league battle on Friday, January 12.
The Orabs (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Dutchmen come into the Siouxland battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, MOC-Floyd Valley trounced Okoboji (Milford, IA), 68-51, in a league battle.
