Healdsburg Greyhounds (Healdsburg, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs (Petaluma, CA), 53-17 in a league bout.

With the win, Healdsburg upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Greyhounds host Piner (Santa Rosa, CA) to play the Prospectors in a North Bay - Redwood bout on Monday, January 15. The Prospectors go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Piner lost 78-31 in their recent league bout against Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Credo Gryphon (Rohnert Park, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. St. Vincent de Paul will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Gryphon go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 57-12 league loss to Sonoma Academy (Santa Rosa, CA).
