The Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes basketball team (Okabena, MN), was overwhelmed 87-21 in Thursday's league battle with the host Murray County Central Rebels (Slayton, MN)

The Rebels now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest Minnesota Christian for a A Section 3 battle on Friday, January 12.

The Coyotes (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Dawson-Boyd (Dawson, MN). The Blackjacks come into the A Section 3 battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Dawson-Boyd was overwhelmed by Minneota (Minneota, MN), 76-49, in a league battle.
