Utah High School Basketball - Herriman knocked off by Mountain Ridge

January 11, 2024: Herriman, UT 84096

The Mountain Ridge Sentinels basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Herriman Mustangs to 41 in the Sentinels league triumph on Thursday.

The Sentinels now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Copper Hills for a 6A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Mountain Ridge will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 52-33 league win over Bingham (South Jordan, UT). The Grizzlies record now stands at 14-0.

The Mustangs (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Corner Canyon (Draper, UT). The Chargers enter the 6A Region 2 contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Corner Canyon ran past Riverton (Riverton, UT), 75-48, in a league contest.
