The Pittsford Panthers basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars to 48 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gates Chili for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Pittsford will battle a Spartans team coming off a 78-34 non-league loss to Penfield (Penfield, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 3-8.

The Cougars (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Irondequoit (Rochester, NY). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Irondequoit was nudged by Pittsford (Pittsford, NY), 65-31, in a non-league contest.
