The Twiggs Academy Trojans basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting John Hancock Academy Rebels to 35 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Windsor Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Twiggs Academy will battle a Knights team coming off a 69-22 non-league loss to Gatewood (Eatonton, GA). The Knights record now stands at 2-11.

The Rebels (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Monsignor Donovan Catholic (Athens, GA). The Rams enter the GIAA A Region 4 contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Monsignor Donovan Catholic was defeated by David Emanuel Academy (Stillmore, GA), 51-30, in a league contest.
