Illinois High School Basketball - Minooka holds off Joliet West

January 11, 2024: Minooka, IL 60447

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) and the visiting Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL), saw Minooka's basketball squad hold off Joliet West by a tally of 45-42.

With the victory, Minooka improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Indians travel to West Aurora (Aurora, IL) to confront the Blackhawks in a SouthWest Prairie - West challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-11.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie - East challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Joliet West will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record.
