The Kimball Cubs routed the visiting Paynesville Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 66-40 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cubs face the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (St. Cloud, MN) in a AA Section 6 battle, on Monday, January 15. Kimball will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Crusaders come into the battle with a 12-14 record after their 70-35 non-league loss to Brainerd (Brainerd, MN).
The Bulldogs (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (Kerkhoven, MN). The Fighting Saints come into the AA Section 3 battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg trounced Renville County West (Renville, MN), 68-28, in a non-league battle.
