The L'Anse Creuse Lancers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans to 47 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lancers now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chippewa Valley for a Macomb Area - Blue contest on Saturday, January 13. L'Anse Creuse will meet a Big Reds team coming off a 53-23 non-league loss to South Lake (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Big Reds record now stands at 3-3.

The Titans (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Big Reds enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record.
