The Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD), 68-4 in Thursday's league test.
The Lions (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD). The Hornets go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test with a 1-6 record.
The Wolverines now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Gwynn Park for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test on Tuesday, January 16. Potomac will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 75-29 league win over Surrattsville (Clinton, MD). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-4.
