With the victory, River Valley improves its record to 2-14 on the campaign. The Dust Devils travel to Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ) to play the Phoenix in a 3A West challenge on Friday, January 12. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a record of 0-9. Tonopah Valley lost 81-7 in their recent league challenge against Parker (Parker, AZ)

Next up, the Heat play the Red Rock Scorpions (Sedona, AZ) in a 2A Metro challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Madison Highland Prep will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record.
