Northeast Nodaway Blue Jays (Ravenwood, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Maysville Wolverines (Maysville, MO), 38-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northeast Nodaway upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Blue Jays travel to Mound City (Mound City, MO) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Mound City won 53-30 in their recent non-league bout against North Andrew (Rosendale, MO)

Next up, the Wolverines clash with the Gallatin Bulldogs (Gallatin, MO) in a Grand River bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Maysville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
