The Mercer Mustangs basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Reynolds Raiders to 16 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shenango for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 14. Mercer will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 35-29 non-league loss to Laurel (New Castle, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-6.
The Raiders (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sharon (Sharon, PA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Sharon was routed by Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA), 74-28, in a league contest.
