In Thursday's league outing, the Morris Hills Knights (Rockaway, NJ) basketball squad beat the host Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ), by a margin of 40-24.

The Knights (5-7) will now prepare for their outing against Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Lenape Valley defeated Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ), 43-21, in a non-league outing.

The Gaels now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Warren Hills Regional for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 13. Roxbury will clash with a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 60-41 non-league win over North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 6-3.
