The Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA) basketball crushed the visiting New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA), 59-11 in Thursday's league test.

The Rams (7-5) will now prepare for their test against South Side (Hookstown, PA). The Rams go into the WPIAL 2A 1 test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, South Side walloped Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA), 55-45, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Freedom Area for a WPIAL 2A 1 test on Monday, January 15. New Brighton will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 47-45 league loss to Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-8.
