    The Northwest Mohawks basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Oak Hill Oaks to 21 in the Mohawks league triumph on Thursday.

    The Mohawks now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern for a Southern Ohio II contest on Monday, January 15. Northwest will battle a Eagles team coming off a 61-27 league loss to Symmes Valley (Willow Wood, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 2-10.

    Next up, the Oaks play the South Gallia Rebels (Crown City, OH) in a Southern Ohio II bout, on Monday, January 15. Oak Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record.
