Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC), 68-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Rosman upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Tigers host Draughn (Valdese, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a 1A/2A Western Highlands bout on Friday, January 12. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Draughn lost 50-44 in their recent league bout against Madison (Marshall, NC)

Next up, the Warhorses clash with the NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC) in a 1A/2A Western Highlands bout, on Friday, January 12. Owen will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 74-4 league loss to Avery County (Newland, NC).
