Pennsylvania High School Basketball - United knocked off by Penns Manor

The Penns Manor Comets basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting United Lions to 50 in the Comets league triumph on Thursday.

The Comets now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cambria Heights for a Heritage contest on Monday, January 15. Penns Manor will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 46-42 league loss to Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-5.

The Lions (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Ligonier Valley was outscored by Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA), 35-31, in a league contest.
