The Vanguard College Prep Vikings (Waco, TX) basketball knocked off the host Prince of Peace Eagles (Carrollton, TX), 47-35 in Thursday's league test.

The Vikings (12-6) will now prepare for their test against All Saints Episcopal (Tyler, TX). The Trojans go into the TAPPS 4A District 2 test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, All Saints Episcopal notched a victory over Brook Hill (Bullard, TX), 38-34, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to McKinney Christian Academy for a TAPPS 4A District 2 test on Saturday, January 13. Prince of Peace will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 44-30 league win over Shelton (Dallas, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-10.
