The San Manuel Miners basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting The Gregory School Hawks to 22 in the Miners league victory on Thursday.

The Miners now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Desert Christian for a 1A Tucson Northwest match on Tuesday, January 16. San Manuel will meet a Eagles team coming off a 36-33 non-league win over Benson (Benson, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 13-7.

With the defeat, The Gregory School moves to 4-10 on the year. The Hawks travel to St. Augustine Catholic (Tucson, AZ) to meet the Wolves in a non-league match on Friday, January 12. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 8-5. St. Augustine Catholic won 46-23 in their recent league match against Tempe Prep (Tempe, AZ)
