South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Waverly Tigers (Waverly, OH), 74-72 in a league bout.
With the victory, South Webster upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Jeeps travel to Portsmouth West (West Portsmouth, OH) to play the Senators in a Southern Ohio III bout on Monday, January 15. The Senators come into the bout with a record of 10-3. Portsmouth West lost 39-37 in their recent league bout against Minford (Minford, OH)
Next up, the Tigers play the Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH) in a Southern Ohio III bout, on Monday, January 15. Waverly will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 44-23 league loss to Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH).
