California High School Basketball - Atwater fells Merced

January 11, 2024: Atwater, CA 95301

Atwater Falcons (Atwater, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Merced Bears (Merced, CA), 50-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Atwater upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Falcons travel to El Capitan (Merced, CA) to play the Gauchos in a bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Gauchos go into the bout with a record of 1-12. El Capitan lost 60-33 in their recent league bout against Patterson (Patterson, CA)

Next up, the Bears play the Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA) in a bout, on Monday, January 22. Merced will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
