California High School Basketball - East Union holds off Manteca

January 11, 2024: Manteca, CA 95336

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA) and the host Manteca Buffaloes (Manteca, CA), saw East Union's basketball squad hold off Manteca by a tally of 46-43.

With the victory, East Union improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Lancers host Kimball (Tracy, CA) to confront the Jaguars in a test on Tuesday, January 16. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 13-3. Kimball won 33-25 in their recent league test against Central Catholic (Modesto, CA)

The Buffaloes now own a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sierra for a test on Tuesday, January 16. Manteca will encounter a Timberwolves squad coming off a 41-28 league win over Oakdale (Oakdale, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 8-5.
