McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ), 34-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, McClintock upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Chargers host Central (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Bobcats in a bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 5-5.

Next up, the Rattlers play the Sierra Linda Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ) in a bout, on Friday, January 12. North Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 33-20 league loss to Central (Phoenix, AZ).
