California High School Soccer - University City knocks off Montgomery

January 11, 2024: San Diego, CA 92122

University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Centurions confront the Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA) in a City - Central challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. University City will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record.

The Aztecs now possess a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Ysidro for a Metro South Bay challenge on Wednesday, January 17. Montgomery will confront a Cougars team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Sweetwater (National City, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-7.
