In Thursday's league outing, the Abundant Life Christian Academy KNIGHTS (Indian Trail, NC) basketball squad beat the host Matthews Christian Academy Colts (Matthews, NC), by a margin of 35-17.

The KNIGHTS (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Cornerstone Christian Academy (Statesville, NC). The Crusaders go into the non-league outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Cornerstone Christian Academy was topped by Shining Light Baptist Academy (Monroe, NC), 50-20, in a league outing.

The Colts now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Calvary Christian for a non-league outing on Friday, January 12. Matthews Christian Academy will clash with a Cougar squad coming off a 67-32 league win over Sheets Memorial Christian (Lexington, NC). The Cougar record now stands at 6-3.
