The Evangel Christian Lightning basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Edgewood Academy Wildcats to 6 in the Lightning non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lightning now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocket City for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Evangel Christian will battle a Falcons team coming off a 45-28 league loss to Nashville Central Christian (Nashville, TN). The Falcons record now stands at 3-8.
The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Evangel Christian (Alabaster, AL). The Lightning enter the non-league contest with a 10-0 record.
