In Thursday's non-league outing, the Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), by a count of 62-32.
The Trojans (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Pine Forest smashed Triton (Erwin, NC), 51-48, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Rosewood for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 16. Hobbton will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 43-34 non-league win over Midway (Dunn, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
