The Seventy-First Falcons basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the host Jack Britt Buccaneers to 52 in the Falcons non-league victory on Thursday.
The Falcons now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Purnell Swett for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Seventy-First will battle a Rams team coming off a 59-54 league loss to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-3.
The Buccaneers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Colts come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Cape Fear triumphed over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC), 59-54, in a league contest.
