Paxton Bobcats (Paxton, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Laurel Hill Hoboes (Laurel Hill, FL), 34-26 in a league bout.

With the victory, Paxton upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Walton (DeFuniak Springs, FL) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Walton lost 31-30 in their recent league bout against West Florida (Pensacola, FL)

Next up, the Hoboes play the Pensacola Christian Academy Warriors (Pensacola, FL) in a bout, on Friday, February 2. Laurel Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
