With the victory, Making Waves Academy improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Marlins travel to California Crosspoint (Hayward, CA) to play the Rams in a challenge on Friday, January 12. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Pumas play the KIPP King Lions (San Lorenzo, CA) in a challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Leadership Public Schools Richmond will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
