With the victory, Martin County improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Perquimans (Hertford, NC) to confront the Pirates in a challenge on Friday, January 19. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Hurricanes confront the East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Pamlico County will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
