Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA), 55-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Palm Desert upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA) to play the Indians in a bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Knights play the Rancho Mirage Rattlers (Rancho Mirage, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Shadow Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record.
