West Florence Knights (Florence, SC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Wilson Tigers (Florence, SC), 41-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Florence upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Hartsville (Hartsville, SC) to play the Red Foxes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Red Foxes come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Hartsville lost 39-36 in their recent league bout against North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC)

Next up, the Tigers play the Myrtle Beach Seahawks (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Wilson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Seahawks come into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 48-25 non-league win over Conway (Conway, SC).
