The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA) and the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), saw Valhalla's soccer squad knock off Steele Canyon by a count of 3-1.

The Norsemen now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Grossmont for a test on Tuesday, January 16. Valhalla will meet a Foothillers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Santana (Santee, CA). The Foothillers record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Steele Canyon drops to 2-6 on the season. The Cougars host Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA) to meet the Monarchs in a test on Tuesday, January 16. The Monarchs come into the test with a record of 0-5. Monte Vista 2-2 in their recent league test against West Hills (Santee, CA)
