University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers face the Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) in a Northern Athletic challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. University Prep will attempt to better on its 10-0 season record. The Miners enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA).

The Cubs now have a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Valley for a Northern Athletic challenge on Tuesday, January 16. Anderson will face a Falcons team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.
