In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Gooding Senators basketball team scored a close 42-40 triumph over the American Falls Beavers.
The Senators (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hansen (Hansen, ID). The Huskies go into the non-league contest with a 2-7 record.
In their next game, the Beavers confront the Aberdeen Tigers (Aberdeen, ID) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. American Falls will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 65-49 non-league loss to West Jefferson (Terreton, ID).
