South Carolina High School Basketball - Bluffton knocks off Whale Branch

January 11, 2025: Beaufort, SC 29940

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Bluffton Bobcats basketball team scored a good 62-50 win over the Whale Branch Warriors.

The Bobcats (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against Colleton County (Walterboro, SC). The Cougars come into the AAAA Region 6 contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Colleton County defeated Beaufort (Beaufort, SC), 61-53, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Lake Marion Gators (Santee, SC) in a AA Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Whale Branch will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Gators come into the contest with a 9-4 record after their 67-46 league win over Barnwell (Barnwell, SC).
