Texas High School Basketball - Breckenridge succumbs to Peaster

The Peaster Greyhounds defeated the visiting Breckenridge Buckaroos basketball squad by a final score of 50-31 in Saturday's league outing.

Next, the Greyhounds clash with the Eastland Mavericks (Eastland, TX) in a 3A Region I District 8 outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Peaster will attempt to upgrade on its 16-8 season record. The Mavericks come into the outing with a 2-16 record after their 43-35 league win over Millsap (Millsap, TX).

The Buckaroos (11-12) will now prepare for their outing against Comanche (Comanche, TX). The Indians come into the 3A Region I District 8 outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Comanche overcame Tolar (Tolar, TX), 40-38, in a league outing.
