In Saturday's league contest, the host Castleberry Lions basketball team scored a close 60-57 win over the Lake Worth Bullfrogs.
The Lions (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX). The Bulls come into the 4A Region I District 7 contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, Bridgeport was tipped by Krum (Krum, TX), 88-38, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bullfrogs battle the Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) in a 4A Region I District 7 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Lake Worth will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 18-7 record after their 85-67 league loss to Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX).
