The Circle Wildcats (Circle, MT) basketball edged the host Lustre Christian Lions (Frazer, MT), 51-48 in Saturday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Frazer for a C District 3 bout on Friday, January 17. Circle will play a Bearcubs team coming off a 73-47 league loss to Dodson (Dodson, MT). The Bearcubs record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Lustre Christian falls to 6-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Scobey (Scobey, MT) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
