California High School Basketball - Cupertino overwhelmed by Homestead

January 11, 2025: Cupertino, CA 95014

In Saturday's league test, the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA), by a score of 49-19.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino test, on Wednesday, January 15. Homestead will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 56-50 league loss to Saratoga (Saratoga, CA).

The Pioneers (3-10) will now prepare for their test against MacDonald (San Jose, CA). The Condor come into the Santa Clara Valley - El Camino test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, MacDonald was routed by Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA), 60-44, in a league test.
