Texas High School Basketball - Jersey Village overwhelmed by Cypress Creek

In Saturday's league test, the Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Jersey Village Falcons (Houston, TX), by a score of 61-39.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 17 test, on Wednesday, January 15. Cypress Creek will attempt to improve on its 16-11 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 10-13 record after their 42-40 league win over Memorial (Houston, TX).

The Falcons (9-15) will now prepare for their test against Northbrook (Houston, TX). The Raiders come into the 6A Region III District 17 test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Northbrook was routed by Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX), 88-40, in a league test.
