Mississippi High School Basketball - Edwards victorious over Gentry

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Edwards Tigers basketball team scored a good 63-49 triumph over the Gentry Rams.
The Tigers (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Yazoo County (Yazoo City, MS). The Panthers go into the 3A Region 3 contest with a 4-12 record.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Cleveland Central Wolves (Cleveland, MS) in a 5A Region 2 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Gentry will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 17-5 record after their 39-30 league loss to Canton (Canton, MS).
