Next, the Tigers clash with the Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX) in a 3A Region II District 15 test, on Tuesday, January 14. Malakoff will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a 5-11 record after their 62-42 league loss to Edgewood (Edgewood, TX).

The Bulldogs (5-16) will now prepare for their test against Winona (Winona, TX). The Wildcats come into the 3A Region II District 15 test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Winona bounced Malakoff (Malakoff, TX), 39-33, in a league test.
