Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Austin knocks off Ridge Point

In Saturday's league contest, the host Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 70-61 win over the Ridge Point Panthers.

The Bulldogs (15-9) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX). The Vikings come into the 6A Region III District 21 contest with a 6-19 record. In their last contest, Fort Bend Dulles was topped by Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX), 70-36, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 contest, on Wednesday, January 15. Ridge Point will attempt to better on its 17-6 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 10-13 record after their 58-46 league win over Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX).
