The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes basketball squad (Missouri City, TX), was outscored 58-46 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX)

With the victory, Fort Bend Elkins advances its record to 10-13 on the year. The Knights travel to Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX) to meet the Panthers in a 6A Region III District 21 battle on Wednesday, January 15. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 17-6. Ridge Point lost 70-61 in their recent league battle against Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX)

The Hurricanes now own a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Bend Travis for a 6A Region III District 21 battle on Wednesday, January 15. Fort Bend Hightower will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 72-64 league win over Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 21-2.
