The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Hill Country Christian Rams (San Marcos, TX) and the host Gateway Christian Eagles (San Antonio, TX), observed Hill Country Christian's basketball team knock off Gateway Christian by a score of 46-35.

The Rams (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Atonement Academy (San Antonio, TX). The Crusaders come into the Freelance challenge with a 0-6 record.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Cornerstone Christian Lions (San Angelo, TX) in a TAPPS 1A District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Gateway Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record.
